FOG RALLY Takes the Scenic Route to Sterling Vineyards
Ferraris, Napa Valley and an Exclusive Afternoon with a FOG RALLY 2026 Sponsor
The FOG RALLY community took to the road for a special summer drive to Sterling Vineyards, bringing together Ferraris, friends and one of Napa Valley’s most iconic wine destinations for an unforgettable afternoon in Calistoga.
FOG RALLY Drivers and community members gathered for the journey north through Wine Country before arriving at Sterling Vineyards, a FOG RALLY 2026 Diamond Sponsor, for a private experience overlooking Napa Valley.
It was exactly the kind of day that defines the FOG RALLY community: beautiful cars, a spectacular destination, great hospitality and, most importantly, the opportunity to enjoy it all together.
An Icon Above Napa Valley
Founded in 1964, Sterling Vineyards was one of only 27 bonded wineries operating in Napa Valley at the time and went on to play an important role in the region’s winemaking history. In 1969, Sterling bottled California’s first vintage-dated Merlot, helping establish the varietal as a wine in its own right rather than primarily a blending grape.
The winery is equally recognizable for its extraordinary setting. Perched approximately 300 feet above the valley floor, its white stucco architecture was inspired by the Greek island of Mykonos and designed from the beginning with the visitor experience in mind.
Getting there is part of the experience.
Sterling is the only winery in the world with an aerial gondola. Guests ascend the hillside in panoramic cabins with 360-degree views across Calistoga, the Napa Valley floor and surrounding mountains before arriving at the hilltop winery. Following the 2020 Glass Fire, Sterling rebuilt and modernized the iconic gondola as part of an extensive restoration of the property.
For our FOG RALLY guests, it made for a fitting arrival after a morning behind the wheel.
More Than Rally Weekend
While the annual FOG RALLY is our flagship event, the community extends far beyond four days in September.
Throughout the year, FOG RALLY Drivers and supporters are invited to special drives, private gatherings, sponsor experiences and automotive and lifestyle events that bring our community together in new ways.
A day at Sterling Vineyards is a perfect example.
These experiences give our Drivers an opportunity to enjoy the passion that first brought many of us together—the cars—while developing friendships, discovering exceptional destinations and building relationships with the sponsors whose generosity makes our charitable work possible.
Because at the end of the day, FOG RALLY is driven with purpose.
We like driving our Ferraris. We love bringing people together. And we love using that passion to raise funds for children in need.
Through the Ferrari Owners Charitable Foundation, the FOG RALLY community has now raised more than $3 million for Make-A-Wish and the FOCF Fund for Kids. Every drive, partnership and gathering helps strengthen the community behind that mission.
